Before placing the flowers in water, remove the packaging and aqua pack from the bouquet and trim the stems at a 45-degree angle with a knife or a pruner.
Fill the vase two-thirds with fresh, lukewarm water and remove any foliage that will sit below the waterline.
Change the water in the vase and trim the stems every day or every other day. Keep the bouquet away from drafts, direct sunlight, heating appliances, and fruits.
